Teaching grade 5 and FSL in a richly diverse and inclusive setting. Working collaboratively across grades at the school and several grade 5 teachers within the catchment. Serving as the Career and Technology Foundations lead teacher for the school.

Supported innovative and inclusive learning practices in grades 4-12. ESL program development. Level B assessment certified. Instruction for ELA 5,  ESL, Life Skills and K&E.

Taught in grade 5 in a diverse class. Responsible for teaching all subjects, except for Music and French. Worked with 2 other grade level teachers to plan collaboratively, as well as multiple rotating EAs to support learning needs within the classroom. Taught in grade 5 classroom. Responsible for teaching all subjects, except for Music and Physical Education. Also taught French as a second language for Grade 5 and 7. Worked with 5 other grade level teachers and the French teaching team to plan collaboratively. Experience in team teaching. Development of inquiry-based learning with a focus on cross-curricular skills and competencies. Creation of literacy program suited to needs of the classroom. Completed the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People training.

Collaboratively worked with fellow instruction to facilitate an in-school review before the Grade 6 Provincial Achievement exams. Delivered the interactive program in both English and French.

Family Room Specialist – training, admin and tech support
Work included product and software training with customers in individualized and group settings, facilitating summer camps, mobile device repair, and support for staff.  Provided administrative support to Admin team and managers. Worked on and with the staff mentor team to promote professional development and on-the-floor support to staff members.
