Lifelong Learning

Teachers are career long learners who participate in professional growth activities, reflect on teaching experiences, seek feedback from a variety of sources, and shares this information in a commitment to growth as a teacher.

Some examples of how I have demonstrated this throughout my career are:

  • Ongoing PD: Critical Thinking, EdCamps, MSS PBL showcase, iWest, Understanding Behaviour, Save Your Sanity behaviour workshop
  • Co-Teacher feedback
  • Team collaborative planning
  • Mentor Teachers’ feedback and collaborative planning
  • Creation of resources to share with other teachers
  • Twitter Chats
  • Growing my PLN via Twitter and networking
  • Collaborative and shared resources with teachers across the province
